New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint a Business Support Specialist reporting to the Head of HR Planning & Strategic Initiatives.

The Business Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy. This role involves collaboration with HR function leads and other stakeholders to design and execute plans. This role involves ensuring adherence to and execution of standard HR policies and processes. The Business Support Specialist contributes to the overall success by ensuring its human resources are effectively utilized and aligned with business objectives. The duties will be diverse, requiring a highly organized individual to effectively support the team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards to track and report on key performance indicators
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR transactions by developing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of reports and dashboards on monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad hoc basis
- In addition to overseeing the creation, analysis, and presentation of financial and business management reports and dashboards crucial for guiding the decision-making processes throughout the institution
- Monitoring and reconciling HR budgets by maintaining, tracking and updating HR Enterprise Risk and Audit logs. Additionally, to support the yearly HR planning and budgeting process and monitor budget versus actuals on a monthly basis
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes by analyzing existing procedures to identify areas where improvements can be made
- Proactively implement solutions that focuses on HR process optimization and enhance efficiency
- Support or coordinate HR projects by helping to define scope, timelines, deliverables, conducting progress update meetings, drafting status reports etc. Additionally, to ensure that the project is delivered within agreed scope, timelines and budget
- Assisting in implementation of policies and supporting the Head of HR Planning and Strategic Initiatives with the production of documents, reports and presentations
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency across countries
- Other duties assigned as needed
