Responsibilities

Monitoring and Coordination:

 

  • Coordinate closely with AoN stakeholders such as Contract Administrators, Drilling Engineers, production teams, reservoir engineers, to facilitate seamless execution of daily and upcoming wireline activities.
  • Monitor daily wireline operations with EIC and OM and forecast wireline activity for assigned rigs and WO.
  • Coordinate closely with ADNOC Onshore Contract Administrators, DE and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective execution of wireline activities.

Planning and Execution:

 

  • Plan wireline operations for Rigs&WO and communicate with AoN Drilling Engineers for PO issuance.
  • Plan Rigless wireline operations and communicate with Petroleum Engineers for PO issuance.
  • Provide technical support and expertise during the planning and execution phases of wireline operations and AoN Representatives.
  • Enhanced Coordination: alignment and synchronization of planning and execution across different teams and departments.
  • Pursue new opportunities outside allocated scope of work.
  • Identify areas where efficiency improvements or technological innovations could add value to customer and reduce costs.

Forecast and Reporting:

 

  • Weekly forecast meeting with AoN stakeholders is to coordinate and align on upcoming activities, challenges, and resource allocations for the week ahead.
  • Evaluate and identify potential issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare reports on wireline activities, including forecast metrics, operational challenges, and recommendations for future operations.
  • Address any conflicts or challenges that may arise during the discussion and reach consensus on the best course of action.

Technology and Innovation:

 

  • Stay updated with the latest wireline technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Implement innovative solutions and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of wireline operations.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster collaboration and coordination among different departments or teams involved in the forecasted activities.
  • Ensure clear communication channels and alignment of objectives within WFRD.
  • Collaborate with reservoir engineers, production engineers, geoscientists, and other multidisciplinary teams to integrate wireline data into reservoir models and production strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, regarding wireline activities, results, and recommendations.

Safety and Compliance:

 

  • Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and practices during all wireline operations.
  • Participate in safety meetings, audits, and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.

 

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

- Previous experience in wireline operations within the oil and gas industry, preferably in a supervisory or technical role.

- Strong understanding of wireline tools, equipment, and techniques.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

- Familiarity with ADNOC Onshore's policies, procedures, and operational guidelines is preferred.

- Certifications in HSE and wireline operations are advantageous.
